Healthy living is very important for your body.Below this texts is a food pyramid and it shows the amount of food type you need to eat.Breads are carbohydrates. You need carbohydrates for energy. Fats are also for energy,but don't eat to much it's not really good.The energy in fats are like 1000,but we only use 100 of it because we don't run and use all of our power.
We need veggies and fruits because it has nutrition and it is healthy for our body. Vegetable and fruits are the most important if you don't have nutrition in your body that is not good.More than one-third of adults and over 12.5 million children and teens in the US are obese. In the last 30 years, obesity in children and teens has nearly tripled.One can of soda contains 10 teaspoons of sugar and the average American adult drinks 500 cans of soda every year, estimating about 52 pounds of sugar consumed in soft drinks alone.An unhealthy diet leads to diseases like diabetes, hypertension, certain cancers, obesity, and micro nutrient. deficiencies.

There's a lot of discussion these days about fit kids. People who care (parents,doctors, teachers, and others) want to know how to help kids be more fit.
Being fit is a way of saying a person eats well, gets a lot of physical activity , and has a healthy weight. If you're fit,your body works well, feels good, and can do all the things you want to do, like run around with your friends.

You may have a favorite food, but the best choice is to eat variety. If you eat different foods, you're more likely to get thenutrients your body needs. Taste new foods and old ones you haven't tried for a while. Some foods,such as green veggies, are more pleasing the older you get. Shoot for at least five servings of fruits and vegetables a day.
